Open grant

The SPPS Open Grant (former Idea Grant) aims to support any idea that would be useful to promote and popularize plant science or to help plant scientists in the Nordic countries.

General rules

• You must be a member of SPPS at any career stage. Join here!

• Applications can be submitted at any time.

• The maximum amount applied for cannot exceed 50,000 SEK.

• Successful applicants must submit a short report (5-7 lines) and a picture of themselves or their activity to be included in the SPPS webpage.

Requirements

• A filled application form (link below) including a description of activities. Please ensure that the form also includes a justification of how the travel grant will benefit plant science in the Nordic countries.

• A clear budget divided into items with estimated costs and a justification for each item.

• A short CV

• A short layman project description and a picture of the applicant or their activity to be included in the SPPS webpage if the application is successful.

Incomplete or faulty applications will be automatically rejected.
