Grant Purpose
The SPPS Open Grant (former Idea Grant) aims to support any idea that would be useful to promote and popularize plant science or to help plant scientists in the Nordic countries. This grant also covers APC fees for open access publication in Physiologia Plantarum in case these are not covered by Plan S transitional agreements. Pure research projects will not be considered.
General rules
- You must be a member of SPPS at any career stage. Join here
- Applications can be submitted at any time.
- The maximum amount applied for cannot exceed 50,000 SEK.
- All successful grantees must submit a financial and scientific report at the end of the activity using the following forms:

Follow the link below to our application form and make sure to include the following attachments. Incomplete or faulty applications will be automatically rejected:
- A project description/motivation for the application (max. 1 page)
- A clear budget divided in items with estimated costs and a justification for each item.
- A CV and publication list (max. 2 pages).
