Our Vision
The Scandinavian Plant Physiology Society (SPPS) aims to be an internationally recognized hub for experimental plant biology that promotes the growth and visibility of plant science, strengthens Nordic and global research networks, and advances education in and public engagement with plant biology.
Our Mission
The SPPS mission is to develop all branches of plant physiology, from molecular biology and biochemistry to ecophysiology. This is achieved by publishing Physiologia Plantarum, organizing scientific meetings and training events, and fostering personal contacts among plant biologists in the Nordic countries and worldwide.
